Processes and Organizational Chart.
Today we begun to develop our processes and our organizational chart, which were some of the tasks for this week in order to be presented to the class on the next Monday session. We divided our organizational chart in positions of CEO, head of marketing and sales, head of finance and head of operations. Then we described each position main goals, strategic tasks and tactical tasks.
Regarding the processes we try to summarize each task that was needed for our service and we divided it in four: chefs, clients, customer relationship and key partners.
We expect to finalize this tasks tomorrow morning and begin some new ones! Keep following our work!

Lessons Learned:
- It's much more easier to imagine all the processes necessary for our work than actually write them in a scheme. We always find out that some things were missing and we only start to think about some aspects like payment processing and selection criteria of Chefs;
- Also doing an organizational chart it's not that easy as it seems. Since our group working experience in not that big we needed to see how other companies are organized special the ones that work as a market place like ours (Airbnb for example). Also describing the strategic and tactical challenges was a little bit complicated and challenging.

Resources, Key partners and Activities.
Today we start to develop and complete some sections of our Canvas regarding Key partners and Resources. We also started to develop some hypothesis for those sections of the Canvas and we arrange everything in the presentation format that is needed for the class.
In what regards the resources we have three: online platform, Chefs database, Chefs itself and Amateurs. Without those 4 components it's not possible to have our service working! We also describe the ways of getting those resources and to keep them as time goes by.
In the early stage of our project we had already decided that we would have some partners that are related with this service. At the begging we considered to have partnerships with food suppliers and cooking tools suppliers in order to have lower prices in materials and food since at the first stage we were thinking about being responsible for covering the costs of those things. After changing a little bit our strategy and after becoming a market place (intermediary) we decided to take those partners out of our model and to insert Food Bloggers since our benchmark revealed that they are important for this type of platforms and services. We also maintained as our partners Cook Associations or Events like Masterchef since it's our believe that great Cookers can come out of those types of programs and initiatives.

Lessons Learned:
- Our key partners can serve as a promoting channel of the service, special the Food Bloggers that can make a reference of Book a Chef in their Blogs;
- Cooking events and Associations can be a great source of talent because many of the cookers that leave those types of competition are looking for a way to increase their awareness and revenue source. Many times the cookers that are on these types of events have another profession and they find really difficult to be pursue their passion for cooking since they don't have their own restaurants or established brand.

Monday presentation and blog's update.
Today it's Sunday which means that we will have a busy and crazy day of our week. It's time to reunite the team and put everything together for tomorrow's presentation.
Our work will be divided in the following steps : hypothesis validation, review and update business model, organizational chart, processes , partnerships, resources , activities and lessons learned. We believe that having a constant update of our model based on the hypothesis validation or invalidation will be the key to have a successful and functional business and a start-up that actual solves a problem for a specific market.
Today we also made some changes in our blog, we had the surveys script and a section for the presentations that are being made during the class. We also changed some things in our hypothesis and we now have an updated version of them in our blog. We are constantly working very hard in order to have our blog updated and with all the information regarding our work inside and outside the class. I hope you enjoy to follow our daily activities as us!

Lessons Learned:
- When everything seems to be ready there is always something missing and this week we though that we had all figured it out on time but we were missing the minimium viable product - the prototype for Book a Chef online platform - which we intend to do tomorrow morning;
- Tomorrow it's the last class but we need to do many things before the 4th in order to have a good pitch.
