#Version 1.1
Due to the analysis made during the last week, the group decided to update the BOOK a Chef business model in some vital aspects:
- Change the segment Busy people to Routine Breakers, with a new description;
- In the field of special events we maintained the Premium segment and add the Special Hosters segment;
- We realized that the chefs are not only partners but also customers, since we provide them with a service and we are paid for that;
- Also related to partners, we decided to add the Food Bloggers, which will be a way to publicize our platform
- The value proposition was also reviewed and include now the chefs;
- The revenue streams are now composed by a commission of around 12,5% paid by the chefs, instead of the payment of the service by the clients. We thought about also having a fixed fee that chefs have to pay in order to be present in our database once it will increase their visibility. However, we think that in the beginning chefs may not want to pay it because the company is a start-up. Putting this, a fixed fee could be a future action if the company succeed and the database increase in a positive way.
