Work hard, dream big
Was a full day of work! If Wednesday was the perfect day to launch and share the chef´s survey, today we started the day with a meeting to validate and launch the survey for potential customers. We used Book a chef and our personal Facebook pages to share the survey. Now we have both surveys running.
We also started doing some brainstorming about the best alternative to create an interactive and creative way to test our hypothesis, it is not easy but we dream big!
Lessons Learned:
- It is essential make sure that everything is in perfect conditions before launch the survey, because a few changes requires us to launch it again and we would lose all previous answers;
- Launch a survey to a specific segment, as the one for chefs, is difficult when comparing with the one for customer´s segment. In the second one, we can enjoy the power of word of mouth, while in the first one we have to contact directly the chefs through private message on Facebook.

We get it, the first reservation!
The day started with a great new!
We received the first reservation through our blog, it is a signal that our effort is working and of course it is a moment that we won´t forget!
Since for now it is only a project for the master program, we sent an email explaining that we are doing everything in order to create a real business to serve him. We also asked if he would want to participate in our interview sessions, it would be a truthful vision from a person who evidenced interest in our business.
Lessons Learned:
- We should always have a prompt and professional answer to a potential customer, we have to invest in the relationship with our customers;
- We have to select careful who we should interview in order to have a true understanding about the business model. Taking this into account we should keep promoting our site and Facebook page to reach our true potential customers.

Time to prepare the next class!
The time it´s not enough to do everything that we want! Fortunately from day to day we have lot of new ideas to put in practice. Today we checked all week tasks and started preparing the powerpoint presentation for tomorrow class. We also interviewed about 20 people to validate our attributes in the value curve. We discover that things were not clear as we thought and we end up changing some of the attributes that we choose in the previous class.
Meanwhile we have been trying to do some thinking out of the box. After all, how can we test our hypothesis in creative ways? Curious? We will keep you that way! Next week we’ll tell you where our creative thinking led us!

Meanwhile we have been trying to do some thinking out of the box. After all, how can we test our hypothesis in creative ways? Curious? We will keep you that way! Next week we’ll tell you where our creative thinking led us!
Lessons Learned:
- In a five person group is not easy to schedule a meeting in short notice, after all Entrepreneurs are busy people! But we recognize that our weekly meetings make the difference in the results that we get at the end of the week;
- Until now we can say that one of the most difficult tasks that we have done was create a way to test our hypothesis, because more than creative it should be innovative. But as a group we understood that the best ideas comes when we work as a team!
