Interview Results
We conducted a total of 35 interviews with dinners and 15 interviews with chefs. Thereof, 10 were conducted with amateurs and 5 were conducted with top chefs!
premium segment
- Only 65% of the premium segment assumed that the main reason to use our service would be to increase their social status, while the other 70% stated that they really like the service! Because it’s a different experience and a quality one as well;
- Around 100% agreed that doing parties at home implies not spending as much time with their guests as they would like and that they like to throw parties where their guests have a great time;
- 99% commented that the phone call would be essential to the quality of the service, and that without it they would be reluctant to use it.
special hosts
- The fact that going to a restaurant is not intimate/special enough and do it at home imply not spending as much time with their guests as they would like, was the reason mentioned by 80% of the interviewees;
- 90% of them don’t have the skills and/or the patience to cook and clean for their friends after a tiring week;
- 100% agreed that a phone call to confirm the service would be mandatory and commented that the price was an important attribute for them!
chefs
- 70% of the chefs said it´s a good way of getting more visibility and earnings;
- 72% of the ones who are interested in the service accepted 15% as a fair commission fee.
