Attributes and value curve.
During session 4 we came up in group with several attributes that we though that were crucial for our business and then we did a value curve with Book a Chef and it's main competitors: Catering and Restaurants. After the class we wanted to test if our attributes were correct and for that we did an experiment: we wrote possible attributes in 16 cards and we interview 20 people and ask them to choose 8 attributes and then rank them by degree of importance. We found out that some of the attributes that we choose during the class were actually right but others like easy to book and availability were not. To substitute them restrictions and waiting time were added and we now have a value curve that it's more accurate!
Restrictions - We consider restrictions as for example the number of people you can invite, the time that the kitchen closes at a restaurant and the time that you need to leave the restaurant.
Price - The amount spend by person in each case. Food Quality - The quality food of each type of competitor. Coolness - Since Book a Chef is an innovative service in Portugal we can see it as a cool way of having a meal. Waiting Time - By waiting time we mean the time spent waiting for each type of service. Customized Options - By choosing Book a Chef clients will have a huge range of options available - both in the type of cousin and the type of dishes. Intimate/Private Environment - The degree of intimacy that each option provides to clients. Convenience - The degree of convenience that each option provides to clients. |
