No doubts about it! We now have a clear Mission and Vision!
Nowadays people are always in a rush and real-life interactions are decreasing between couples, friends and family. Sometimes people want to go to the restaurant, for example, just to say they are breaking the routine. Going out and being in a different place with lots of people can give them the sensation of not being alone and feeling energized and happy with life. But we want to provide people with truly happily moments. Only them, in the comfort of their home. Enjoying the simplest moments in life. Happiness will not be based on where to go, but with whom people really want to be. We want people to choose our service in order to feel this type of atmosphere: intimacy, relaxing environment, no worries, good food and wine and the total availability to enjoy time with people they love. With this in mind, our vision for the future was created. But the mission will be the same. Providing a customized and pleasant service. As simple as that!

#Lessons learned:
- Understanding the purpose of the company and where the company wants to be in the future gave our team a direction and made us enthusiastic about our business;
- We are now one step closer to understand if our service will help people somehow. Let’s do this!;

We launched a Facebook Page!
After having our blog more or less with all the basic and fancy features we want, we thought about doing a Facebook page.
This was done because the initial idea for “book a chef” includes the creation of a community that virtually joins people that are interested in our service, in the experience it may provide, in our chefs advices and recommendations of people who have already paid for the service. So, because we are not already providing any service, the idea for now is to get opinions from the external community. Know what are the problems they face when they want to arrange a special event, or when they want to eat a top quality meal. Then, we would like to present them our solution and ask for their feedback, also.

#Lessons learned:
- Our Facebook page can actually be an important tool for validation;
- This page has already helped us! By inviting our friends to like the page, a friend of us remembered seeing a Facebook page of a Sushi specialist chef that is currently going to people’s houses to cook. We thought about talking to him and told him about out idea!
Our Promotion Video is done!
Monday afternoon was time to get feedback from our colleagues (that did not know about our service)! Our video was almost finished but we wanted to test it some way before add it to the blog. We asked feedback on our song, type of letters, video duration and perception of the message/service.
#Lessons learned:
- Promotional videos have to be general but, at the same time, have to clearly provide all the information about our service, otherwise people may interpret things differently and be uncertain about the service we intend to offer;
- Our video makes people hungry! Which was exactly what we wanted!

#Lessons learned:
- The interview script in the format of problem and solution is a good tool to help us to define our segments. Thanks the tool we have our idea on the segmentation finished;
- It is better when people don’t simply accept ideas without questioning others! This way, when trying to explain the idea, people understand where are the flaws or not;
- We have 4 final customer segments in our minds (Premium, Special Hosters, Routine Breakers and Chefs) - however, we need to validate! The segmentation was done with the criteria “motivation to pay for the service” that we divided in “want to organize a special event - in group or not”, “want to eat to food” and “want out help to connect with customers”;
- We are having a lot of work to do, but no other course is so funny!;
- Competition increases innovation and effort. This can be applied to our team! Our rivals are very good but we are now stronger and willing to work harder!
